Jay Deady
President and Chief Executive Officer
An experienced global executive leader with high personal commitment and ethics, Jay has demonstrated ability in delivering significant value to organizations. Jay Deady serves as president and chief executive officer of Awarepoint. In this role, Jay will drive the strategic vision for Awarepoint and manage all company operations focusing on new market development, revenue growth, profitability, and ensuring the long term success of our hospital clients. He has an outstanding record of building high performance teams and a strong focus on both internal and external client satisfaction.
Jay’s career has been in healthcare information technology for 21 years, including significant experience as a public corporate officer. He was most recently the executive vice president of client solutions for Eclipsys where he drove the corporate global go-to-market and solution delivery strategies, and successfully positioned the company for its merger with Allscripts. Prior to Eclipsys, he was senior vice president and general manager of revenue cycle at McKesson Provider Technologies. He also held general manager and vice president positions with Cerner Corporation and ADAC Healthcare earlier in his career. Jay received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with emphasis in economics from Tufts University in Massachusetts.

Brad Weinert
Chief Operating Officer
Bringing over 25 years of professional management experience in a variety of high-technology market segments, Brad Weinert serves as chief operating officer of Awarepoint. Prior, he served as President for Novatel Wireless from August 2007 to December 2008 and as acting CEO from November 2006 to August 2007.
While at Novatel Wireless, Inc., Brad held increasingly responsible positions including Chief Operating Officer and Sr. Vice President of Business Development. From February 1999 to December 2001 he worked for Novatel as VP Product Management and VP Corporate Strategy. He was part of the team that successfully delivered long-term contracts with companies such as HP, Dell, Compaq, Verizon Wireless, Vodafone, Sprint, AT&T, IBM and Intel.
From February 1998 to February 1999, he was Vice President Product Management at IVasion/RouterWare Inc., where he oversaw the design, development and delivery of all commercial and OEM networking products. Mr. Weinert has also held senior management positions with NetManage Inc., Age Logic Inc. and PathwaySystems, where his responsibilities included engineering, sales and marketing of software and hardware products for local and wide area networking.

Matt Perkins
Chief Technology Officer & Senior Vice President of Engineering
A key innovator, technology leader and visionary for next generation wireless technologies, Matt Perkins serves as chief technology officer and senior vice president of engineering for Awarepoint. In this role, Matt is responsible for system design, simulation, prototype development and merging innovation with entrepreneurial opportunity to increase Awarepoint’s market share in RTLS industries.
Prior, Matt spent 10 years at Motorola as the Technical Director of the Things-to-Things Research Center where he was responsible for aligning business partnerships with technology roadmaps, directing strategic joint research partnerships related to distributed sensor networks and leading the development of Motorola’s Asset Tracking and Smart Energy technologies. Matt’s extensive experience includes being an individual contributor in the design and simulation of low-power, low-rate wireless sensor network protocols and the development of social networking algorithms and proof-of-concept vehicles. He led research on radio-location technologies and wireless sensor network protocol development, contributed to the IEEE 802.15.4 and IEEE 802.15.3 standards. Matt also served as Motorola’s Director Representative for the ZigBee Board of Directors. He remains an active leader in the ZigBee Alliance as Chair of the ZigBee Healthcare Working Group.
Matt is an internationally known speaker on the topic of wireless sensor network technologies and a respected thought leader who is acknowledged by senior leadership teams, standards bodies and technical committees. Matt has authored 13 U.S. issued patents as well as numerous journal and conference publications. Matt graduated from the University of Florida with both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering.

Ralph Keiser
Executive Vice President of Client Solutions
Keiser, who brings 30 years of corporate management, strategic planning, sales and marketing success in the healthcare IT market, will oversee the company’s North American and global sales and account management teams. Prior to joining Awarepoint, Keiser served as senior vice president of provider solutions for MedeAnalytics. As senior vice president of the enterprise performance management sales group at Eclipsys, he drove the unit’s sales growth by 850 percent over a three-year period. Previously, he served as executive vice president of sales and marketing at Enterprise Performance Systems Inc. During his three-year tenure, he expanded sales by more than 150 percent, which contributed to the company’s sale to Eclipsys in 2008. He was also vice president of Knowledge Discovery at Cerner Corporation, where he created and grew sales of Cerner’s PowerInsight data warehouse solution from zero to $20 million in three years.
Keiser holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He is a member of the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HiMSS) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
Merrie Wallace
Executive Vice President, Product Solutions and Marketing
Merrie brings 20 years of innovating with McKesson Corporation and other healthcare technology companies and healthcare provider organizations in strategic executive roles. She brings an exceptional combination of leadership experience from managing complex hospital systems, to providing strategic guidance in business development, product management, sales, and marketing.
At Awarepoint, she will be responsible for aligning product development and marketing initiatives with customer needs and healthcare technology trends for workflow automation and process improvement methodologies.
Wallace earned a Master of Nursing Administration degree from Emory University in Atlanta and a bachelor of science in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Tony Marsico
Executive Vice President of Global Business Development
Mr. Marsico joined Awarepoint in 2011 after the acquisition of PCTS. As co-founder and president of Healthcare I.T. (later acquired by PCTS), Mr. Marsico established the company as the leading provider of automatic patient tracking and reporting in U.S. emergency departments. Under his leadership, the company established EDTracker as the #1 selling emergency department automatic tracking software solution in the U.S. and expanded the company’s product offering to include perioperative, outpatient services and asset tracking solutions. He was appointed President and CEO in 2005.
Mr. Marsico is a leading authority on the implementation of real time location system-enabled workflow automation systems in health care. He also has extensive experience in training and computer-based documentation. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Physics and Math from Wofford College and a Masters of Technical and Scientific Communications from Miami University of Ohio. He regularly presents to the health care community on the role for intelligent workflow automation solutions to improve the efficiency and safety of health care delivery.

Dennis O’Leary, M.D.
Chief Strategy Officer
A much-admired and influential leader in healthcare, Dr. Dennis O’Leary serves as chief strategy officer of Awarepoint. In this role, O’Leary creates and sustains strategic initiatives specifically focused on regulatory requirements impacting safe, quality patient care. Prior, O’Leary served a 21-year tenure as President at The Joint Commission. During that time, he led the successful transformation of its accreditation process to focus on actual organization performance in the provision of patient care.
Before The Joint Commission, O’Leary served as Dean for Clinical Affairs at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and Vice President of the George Washington University Health Plan. At George Washington, he achieved the faculty rank of Professor of Medicine and served as Medical Director of the University Hospital. O’Leary has been active in a variety of professional activities. Among them, O’Leary served as a member of the board of directors of the National Quality Forum and as a member of the National Advisory Council of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. In 2000, he was identified by Modern Healthcare as “one of the 25 most influential leaders in health care”.
O’Leary earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, New York, NY and his bachelor’s degree from Harvard College, Cambridge, MA.

William (Bill) Haughton
Senior Vice President of North American Sales
Bill joined Awarepoint in 2009 with over 15 years of sales, sales management and business development experience in the United States and internationally including positions held in the U.S., Asia and Australia. Bill serves as s Senior Vice President North American Sales for Awarepoint. In this role, Bill is responsible for Awarepoint’s ongoing growth in the RTLS and Real-time Awareness market space though his management of the Company’s direct and indirect sales channel.
Bill’s previous experience managing teams in software solutions, hardware delivery and healthcare service sectors uniquely positions him as a leader within the Real-time Awareness Solutions market in the US. Prior, Bill served as Vice President of Sales at GBH Communications. GBH worked with California Pacific Medical Center to deliver one of the world’s first remote video stroke diagnostic platforms. Bill completed his degree in Technology Management at Royal Melbourne University in Australia.
John Raneri
Vice President of Account Management
John Raneri is vice president of account management for Awarepoint. In this role, John and his team manage Awarepoint’s hospital relationships at both the Executive and End-User level to implement an effective and efficient enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the hospital’s investment. John is an expert in developing and implementing strategic plans for the delivery of cost-effective, high-performance software and data integration solutions to meet challenging business demands.
John possesses nearly 20 years of success dedicated to the IT and communication sectors with 7 years solely focused on Healthcare IT. His expertise is in developing strategies, defining effective go-to-market plans, and executing programs with a demonstrated record of maximizing customer value and success. Prior to Awarepoint, John served in various capacities representing both start-up international enterprises through Fortune 100s, including Director of Sales, Regional Vice President, Regional Sales Manager, and Senior Account Manager for Major Accounts. He holds a BA in Government/Law and History from Lafayette College.

Robert (Bob) Love
Senior Vice President of Professional Services
Robert (Bob) holds the management responsibilities for Awarepoint’s network installations and ongoing customer support functions. Bob manages a national team of Awarepoint-certified network engineers with responsibility to plan and implement network installation projects and communicate client needs to Awarepoint’s engineering leadership.
At Awarepoint, he has developed wide-ranging experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Awarenet®, Awarepoint’s ZigBee-based wireless mesh network. He has extensive experience in hardware/software installation, system configuration, network administration, and security. His essential duties include design, architecture, and implementation of ZigBee sensor networks in hospital and healthcare settings. He is also accountable for ongoing network management and has excellent working knowledge of network monitoring tools to support Awarepoint’s fully-managed network maintenance.
Prior to Awarepoint, Bob has worked for fortune 500 and startup companies specializing in delivering products and cultivating relationships throughout his 25-year career. His background includes customer service experience in several market verticals ranging from large healthcare organizations to higher education. During his career, Bob has developed excellent organization skills, the ability to team with others to develop and implement complex projects, a strong work ethic and a drive to satisfy customers. His tenacity and willingness to think out-of-the-box has earned him respect and admiration from customers, his team members and top level management alike.
