The Awarenet™ Wireless Sensor Network Tags
Awarepoint tags broadcast low-power radio messages which allow you to quickly locate specific equipment or people and provide information about their movement and status. Each tag features unique functionality and a specific form factor to support a variety of business applications. With our suite of RTLS tags, Awarepoint’s Real-time Awareness Solution can make an immediate impact to improve asset mamangement challenges including increasing equipment utilization, reducing rentals and preventing “missing” equipment, while at the same time improving patient safety, patient flow, temperature monitoring compliance and improving workflow and business processes.
All Awarepoint tags are durable and reusable with the majority supplying an expected battery life greater than five years. Tags are FCC compliant, constructed of flame retardant plastic and can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant. The sterilizable tag is specifically engineered for use with a steam autoclave and immersion in the most common liquid sterilization methods employed in hospitals. It is ideal for use in medical instrumentation tray tracking and with other mobile medical equipment that must be sterilized between uses.

| Equipment Asset Tag (T2A) Tags are securely attached to any type of equipment using a variety of fasteners or commercial adhesive. Each tag features a unique, indicator switch. When moved from one position to the other, the switch sends an alert which can be configured for specific use cases (e.g., “I’m ready to be used again,” or “I need maintenance”). |
Sterilizable Asset Tag (T2S) The industry’s first sterilizable RTLS asset tag for use in medical instrumentation and tray tracking applications. Clinically tested and certified for product-specific cleaning, sterilization and disinfection. Endures standard autoclave cycles at temperatures up to 135 ºC, as well as immersion in the most common liquid sterilization methods. |

Wearable Tag (T2P1) Awarepoint’s T2P1 Tag is designed for patient and personnel tracking applications and can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant. The tag is easily worn with disposable patient bracelets for patient tracking applications; and can be attached via standard id badge clip, belt clip or lanyard for personnel use. |
