Awarepoint tags broadcast low-power radio messages which allow you to quickly locate specific equipment or people and provide information about their movement and status.  Each tag features unique functionality and a specific form factor to support a variety of business applications.  With our suite of RTLS tags,  Awarepoint’s Real-time Awareness Solution can make an immediate impact to improve patient safety, patient flow, clinical engineering and business processes - while at the same time prevent “missing” equipment, reduce equipment rental expense and increase equipment utilization. 

 

All Awarepoint tags are durable and reusable with the majority supplying an expected battery life  greater than five years.  Tags are FCC compliant, constructed of flame retardant plastic and can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant.  The sterilizable tag is specifically engineered for use with a steam autoclave and immersion in the most common liquid sterilization methods used in hospitals for use in medical instrumentation tray tracking and wearable tag applications.

 

 

 

Standard T2A Asset Tag

Tags are securely attached to any type of equipment using a variety of fasteners or commercial adhesive. Each tag features a unique, indicator switch. When moved from one position to the other, the switch sends a an alert  which can be configured for specific use cases (e.g., “I’m ready to be used again,” or “I need maintenance”).

Unique Operational Features

•High performance omni-directional tilt and vibration sensor to alert when equipment is in motion

•Patented Optical Sensor detects when Tag has been removed from an  asset and transmits an alert.

 

 

Sterilizable T2S Tag

The T2S Tag is the industry’s first sterilizable RTLS active RFID asset management tag and is clinically tested and certified for product-specific cleaning, sterilization and disinfection.   Without removing it from equipment, the T2S Tag endures standard autoclave cycles at temperatures up to 135 ºC, as well as immersion in the most common liquid sterilization methods. Hermetically sealed and designed for the harsh environment of a steam autoclave, the T2S is an extremely cost effective solution for medical instrumentation tracking applications.

 

 

 

Temperature Monitoring T2T Tag

Designed for use in a wide range of environments, the T2T operates under the most extreme temperature conditions, while low power consumption ensures reliable functionality of critical monitoring sessions. Combining outstanding accuracy with long term stability, the T2T incorporates fast data management with reporting and alerting capabilities including monitor of temperatures ranges from -28°C to +90°C ±1ºC  and automatic notification alerts if temperature is above or below preset thresholds for a user-specified amount of time.

 

 

Wearable T2P1 Patient Tag

Awarepoint’s T2P1 Tag is designed for patient tracking applications and  can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant.   The reusable T2P1 is an extremely cost effective solution for patient tracking applications. When a patient is ready to be released from the hospital, staff snips off the bracelet/tag, discards the bracelet, and saves the tag for decontamination and reuse.
