Awarepoint Tags actively initiate location updates for real-time tracking. Where other passive systems require a scanner or reader to detect and locate items, Awarepoint updates automatically and continuously.

Awarenet is also self-healing. If Sensors become blocked or disabled, the system automatically recalibrates to compensate for the change, maintaining overall location computation accuracy. In addition, Sensor data is automatically re-routed through the mesh network around Sensors which may have become disabled or blocked from radio communication.
